A Family story ...
Hospitality with all comforts, dedicated to my father Mario
Le Case di Mario are the houses where my family has lived for generations, and Mario was the name of my father to whom this hospitality service is dedicated. Its layout is typical of the Viareggio town and it is thus called “Casa Viareggina”.
The two houses are independent and they will be for your exclusive use.
They were supposed to become the home of my own family but life brought me elsewhere, specifically to Bristol (UK) where I currently live.
Although different in size and feel, they both provide every comfort and the sense of being at home. They were made for families, after all.
They are strategically located less than a 10 minute walk from the main facilities and amenities: local greengrocer (1 min), quality supermarket (3min), bus stop connected to Pisa airport (4min), the “Pineta” park (5 min), railway station (7 min), independent restaurant/pizzeria (7 min), main market square (10 min). Walking for less than a 15 min walk away will lead you to the seafront, main promenade and the beach.
I personally take care of the relationship with the guests via internet and telephone, while Luciana will take care of your stay once you are there.
Enrico is also available as a driver to take you around if you need transport (for an additional fee).
I lived in these houses until I was 43 and I am so pleased to now make them available to other people who can enjoy the dear places where I spent my infancy, youth and early adulthood.
I will let you know my best picks for places to visit and things to do at any time of the year. You will be close to some of the most stunning places in Italy!
Please read the detailed descriptions, and be sure that you are happy with the rules of the houses. I look forward to hearing from you :-)

Luciana, Art Director
Luciana is my best friend and works as a Hotel director on the seafront. She has a great passion for hospitality and she is basically the art director of the project. The interior design that you will find there is mainly due to her passion and talent. She supervises all activities and she speaks Italian, English, French and some German.
Umberto, Designer
Umberto is the architect who designed Casa Mario dei Pini in 1996. He is part of the family and still involved sometimes in greeting and assisting our guests as he lives just across the road.
If you like the house and the feel of its space ... well this is a product of Umberto's mind.
He is a kind person, always happy to be helpful.
Enrico, Driver
My dear old friend Enrico is someone that you can truly call a proud native of Viareggio. He knows all the cracks and crannies of the area and can drive you to places where you cannot easily go with public transport.
Happy to contribute to the enjoyment of our guests, he speaks English and French fluently and basic Spanish and German.
Massimo, Owner
This is me. I have done many things in my life, from Software Engineering to Dance Teaching. I am now happy to be a gardener in Bristol UK.
